The Muon is an elemental particle similar to an electron but has a much greater mass. Known for its incredible amount of energy as it moves through matter, it is this burst of energy that became the inspiration behind Muon and our e-bikes.
The Initial Spark
What started off as a spark of idea has ignited into the sportive and energetic Muon brand seen today. Muon’s co-founder and lifelong cycling enthusiast, Jan de Jong, developed the brand concept and put emphasis on bringing this energy to life through the Muon models.

The Linemart GmbH Group was founded in 2015 to design, develop, co-manufacture and market e-bikes, driving innovation in next-generation technologies. Our vision is to make a tangible contribution to a better life for people by providing cleaner and healthier mobility solutions. Nearly a decade later, it has evolved into four distinct products: the Fermion, Elon, Axion, Bradyon and Lepton, each with its own unique identity and positioning.
