Overview

  • Muon e-bikes include a tiered warranty: Our e-bike is covered by a 2-year warranty, while the frame comes with an extended warranty of up to 6 years, starting from the date the customer takes delivery of the bike. This warranty coverage remains valid even if the e-bike is transferred to a subsequent owner.
  • Warranty claims must be made directly to Muon. Any repairs while under warranty need to be executed by Muon or approved by Muon in advance. If not, Muon has the right to refuse the warranty claim.

Parts covered by warranty

MUON E-Bike Warranty Highlight: 6-Year Frame Assurance

At MUON, we build our e-bikes to last, which is why every aluminum frame is protected by a comprehensive 6-year warranty. 

Please note that standard wear-and-tear parts are not covered under this warranty.

Components such as chains, brake pads, tires, and bearings—which endure high stress and require regular maintenance—must be serviced or replaced periodically to guarantee optimal performance and safety. We recommend following a consistent maintenance schedule, as proper care of these consumable parts is essential for a smooth and efficient riding experience.

Wearing Parts Overview:

The following components are classified as wearing parts on our e-bikes. These items are subject to regular wear and tear and require periodic inspection, maintenance, or replacement to ensure optimal performance and safety. They are not covered under the standard long-term warranty.

  • Braking System: Brake discs (rotors) and brake pads
  • Drivetrain: Chainrings, chains, cassettes (freewheels), and bottom brackets
  • Wheels & Tires: Rims, tires, and hub bearings
  • Suspension & Frame Components: Bushings, seals, and bearings within frame parts such as forks and shock absorbers
  • Contact Points & Controls: Handlegrips, saddles (seats), and control cables.


Limited Warranty Guidelines & Exceptions

  • The warranty does not cover any consumables; any non-original or unauthorized parts; any covered part that has undergone normal wear and tear; or any covered part that has sustained damage due to failure to abide by the user manual, force majeure, accident, theft, intentional destruction, misuse, neglect, abuse, alteration, modification, improper assembly, user error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper/unauthorized maintenance and service.
  • For batteries, the warranty does not cover damage caused by improper charger use, improper maintenance or other misuse, normal wear and tear, water damage (batteries should be stored in a dry environment with a relative humidity of less than 85%), or improper storage (battery storage temperature should be controlled at 20–35 °C as much as possible).
  • Worn parts (including but not limited to tires, tubes, brake pads, parts with suspension, and cables) are not covered by warranty. We still provide assistance with these parts for a reasonable price, if needed.
